1911 Whiskey

1911 Whiskey (1911W) is a veteran and veteran-supporter owned and operated gaming community built around competition, friendship, and having a damn good time gaming together. 1911W started when three guys met while playing Battlefield 2042. At the time, I was running a Discord community called Unconventional Gamers, while the other two founders were running 1911 Whiskey. As a military veteran myself and with them being strong supporters of the veteran community, we realized pretty quickly that our groups had the same kind of mentality. Instead of competing against each other, we decided to collaborate, bring everyone together, and play on the same team. That partnership eventually became the 1911 Whiskey community we have today. While competitive shooters are a big part of who we are, 1911W isn't tied to a single game. We've played everything from Battlefield and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to party games and whatever else gives everyone an excuse to get together. Now we're looking to take that same community into WARDOGS and other competitive games where we can represent 1911W as a team. Our community is made up of people from all walks of life. Veterans, veteran supporters, competitive players, casual gamers, streamers, and people who just want a group to game with are all welcome. We're definitely not the most politically correct gaming community on the internet, and we don't pretend to be. People are free to joke around, talk trash, and be themselves. The rule is simple: don't take it too far. Respect the people you're playing with, and if somebody crosses that line, our leadership handles it professionally instead of letting unnecessary drama take over the community. Streaming and content creation are also a major part of what we're building. I currently serve as the primary streamer for the community, but the long-term goal is to give more 1911W members opportunities to stream, create content, compete, and represent the brand. Most importantly, 1911 Whiskey is more than a clan tag. 1911W is something we're working to build into a recognizable gaming and streaming brand. We want 1911W competing in organized events, growing a strong online community, and becoming a name people recognize when they see the tag. As the community grows, we also want to give something back to the people who support us. Our goal is to eventually run community events, giveaways, and unique prizes provided by myself and other members of 1911W leadership. We started as three guys who happened to meet on Battlefield 2042. Now we're building something much bigger. 1911W — Veteran & Veteran-Supporter Owned and Operated.
